Well it’s not A or B …… in my opinion, it doesn’t matter whether you’re fully grown or not ….. if your diet is deficient you need to supplement …… and what about the athletes that have a healthy fresh vital diet encompassing a wide array of fresh nutritious foods …… i do agree with C as long as you get a good quality supplement and aren’t intolerant to any of the ingredients …… for example, i’m lactose intolerant and it’s important for me to take a multi B complex supplement ……. the B vitamins contained in a multi vitamin would never ever suffice …… and i also agree with D as exposure to pesticides, perfumes, chemicals, smog, smoke etc… can affect health and vitrality enormously and the quality of the food you eat does have a vast impact on your health and longevity.

It’s not as simple as that. There are other factors such as your health situation, if you have any illnesses, chronic diseases etc. Typically if you are basically healthy and have a good diet, vitamin supplements are useless.

    D.

It is not A because adults need vitamins just as much as kids and the elderly, just in most cases we get enough from the foods we eat if and as long as we are not sick the body does a good job of storing the vitamins it needs and getting rid of the ones it doesn’t.

It is not really B because while vitamins will help them due to the rigorous demand they put on their body, it is not required because again, they eat healthy, and probably 4 to 5 times a day because they need the calories and nutrients.

It can’t really be C because if you can not eat properly then you need a multi, not just a single vitamin like say Vitamin A, doing that would not help you with all the other vitamins and minerals you need.

So it has to be D. Because as you stated, diet and environment can determine if you will need additional nutrients, if you have a poor diet, you could benefit from vitamin supplements.
