I need to use dried herbs in place of fresh. What are the quantities?

    Use one third the amount of dried herbs since their flavor is more intense than fresh. As the herb dries, the flavor intensifies. You can always ADD more but it’s hard to SUBTRACT it once it’s already in the dish.

    I use half as much dried as I would fresh herbs since the flavor will be more intese from the dried herbs. You can always add more later if you need it!

    One tablespoon of fresh herbs is equivalent to one teaspoon of dried herbs.

    Typically, use 1/3 the amount of dried. Add them a bit earlier than you would add the fresh, too.
