It depends on the type of vitamin and/or mineral. Taking water soluble vitamins, such as C, aren’t too bad because they go right through your body if you have an excess. One way to know if you are taking to much Vitamin C is if you experience diarrhea. Your body is telling you you have had enough.
However, fat soluble vitamins, like A and D, can linger in your body for a long time, and can cause irreperable damage.
Always consult your health practitioner before taking vitamins in excess of the recommended dosage.

If you take too many different classes of aminos together then they can interfere with transfer across the bloodbrain barrier.

it depends on what vitamins it is.
for instance a lot of vitamin c is ok…but too much iron can be deadly
too much of any vitamin can be hazardous to your health
its better to get the vitamins naturally because they are just that, natural… natural things are always better

It depends on what kind of vitamins. For example you can overdose on iron, but you can take as much vitamin C as you wish.
Look at the percent daily values on the bottle for a guide about how much you should be taking. I hope this helped at least a little.

wow, i didnt mean to write this exactly like the one above me, it wasnt there when i typed this.

Err, baaaaaaad, id have to say get an herbal vitamin, made up of dehydrated fruits and veggies, vitamins sway the balance of the body. Too much of vitamin b12, b6, calcium, iron, can be bad for mental health ive read, not very bad, but by a little. Also you gain superhuman power, the ability of you to eat more vitamins than the average person.

there shouldn’t be any side effects, especially if you’re only taking only 1 or 2 of each tablet. Your body is using up vitamins minute by minute, hour by hour, just like it’s using air and water. stress, pollution, junk food, exercising, medications, etc all deplete the body of vitamins and minerals, similar to how shopping, bills, rent, and partying all deplete your bank account - it never stops. As far as taking too many vitamins, you will *** out any excess before it causes side effects. You never hear of cases of poisoning via vitamin overdose. Any diet that includes the occasional hamburger, pizza, hot dog, candy bar, or soft drink should have vitamin supplements in there somewhere.
