Why do we have to eat vegetables it vitamins are so much easier?

Every morning, I have to take a vitamin, and during meals, I have to eat my vegies. If vitamins are equivilent to the day’s serving size of veggies, why do we still eat veggies instead of just vitamins?

You still need your veggies and most store type vitamins are poorly absorbed by the body. Unless you use a brand that is well absorbed by the body you are not getting the amount of vitamins you think you are from that pill. Also natural vitamins from fresh fruits and veggies are always better for you.

You generally only absorb half of the vitimins in your vitamin tablets. The vitamins in veges are much easier for your body to absorb, and veges contain fibre which you need to keep you digestive system going.

no, they are not equivalent
you can’t get from a vitamin the same thing that you would get from actual food

Vitamins do not have roughage.
Veggies have much more than merely vitamins. They have fiber, minerals, and other nutrients that you can’t get from a pill.

Because veggies have fiber and you need fiber for your digestion system to keep working.
