Do my herbs have to come in during the winter?

Me and my mother in law just started our herb gardens and they are doing great. We have mints, balms, all culinary herbs, and more. We were wondering if we have to bring them inside in the winter. We live in central florida. If you could help us out we’d be grateful.

Only if it is very cold you should bring them inside. Another thing, is good to pour water into the plants when weather is cool they won’t get hurt.
I managed to find a website that lists these herbs as herbs that prefer cool weather:
*Chives
*Cilantro
*Dill
*Mint
*Parsley
*Rosemary
*Sage
*Thyme
If such is the case then I’m assuming via process of elimination that these herbs prefer warm or hot weather
*Basil
*Lemon grass
*Oregano

You could bring in the annuals or collect seeds for next spring, you’ve got plenty of time before winter. (Basil, Dill, Cilantro…)
Perennials will be fine in the ground. (Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Lemon grass…)
suggest you put mint in containers or it Will take over - almost impossible to get rid of if allowed to become established.
