I am new to growing and drying or freezing herbs. Any help will be appreciated.

Just cut the branches of the plant and tie them with a kitchen string in bunches and hang upside down indoor to dry.

One of the easiest ways is to lay them on newspapers in your
car. the heat of the vehicle will dry them and your car will smell good too.

Cut them at the base of the stem and tie them in small bundles around the base of the stems.Hang them upside down so the essence of the herb gets into the leaves. Find a sunny window and hang them there for several days until they dry. Then strip the leaves from the stems and crumble them up to the size you want and put them in an airtight bag or bottle. If you have a Food saver machine you can cryovac individual servings and they’ll last for years in a cool dry place.

I wash the mint, then I take the leaves off the stems, put on a microwavable plate single layer about 3 mins. you can adjust the timing to the amount you are drying , I have been drying mint this way for 3 years , works well I use a lot of mint , my husband loves mint tea….
