Fat Free Chocolate Soy Milk mixed with an Instant Carnation Breakfast will give you plenty of protein, vitamins and nutrients. Cheap, and effective.

I prefer Champion Nutrition Chocolate whey protein or American Whey. Some people like Optimum Nutrition but I thought the flavors were hit or miss. I did a short review of american whey here : and a long review of Optimum Nutrition protein (I reviewed 16 flavors) here : . For the most part I only like chocolate or banana flavors, so I’m biased in that direction. If you want whey protein that tastes like choc. milk even in water pick champion nutrition or american whey. If you want authentic banana flavor choose optimum nutrition banana.
