The trainers told me i have about 13% body fat and to gain muscle i should eat more calories and should take some protein drinks to help with the muscle gain. My question is should i take whey protein shakes or muscle milk and what types of food are good for you but are high in calories.

Whey protein and muscle milk are both good stuff, but if you are trying to gain weight and put on mass, I would think muscle milk is better because it has much more calories and fat. If you are just trying to put on some muscle without gaining too much mass, then whey protein is the best bet. Foods that are good for gaining muscle:

Steak, potatoes, chicken, salads, fruits, cottage cheese, peanut butter, wheat bread, rice, yams, tuna, turkey, roast beef, salami, beef, beef jerky, fish, MILK, etc…

Make sure to be lifting and doing cardio if you want to gain lean muscle!

Make sure you use a pure whey protein with No artificial Sweeteners, No artificial Flavors, No artificial Fillers etc.

Sells the highest quality and best priced pure whey protein.
